Located 40 miles east of Knoxville near I-40 and I-81, Baneberry provides an outstanding but very affordable resort experience. Guests stay alongside the fairways in two-bedroom villas or in motel-type efficiency units. With tees tailored to golfers of all abilities, the excellent 6,700 yd golf course consists mainly of rolling land with lush Bermuda fairways and fast bentgrass greens.

Effective course management provides at least two rounds a day for avid golf guests. Our guests often comment about the quality, congeniality and convenience at this small resort, which also offers Angelos’ Tavern on the Green for great indoor or outdoor dining. Baneberry is less than an hour from the Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area and the national park.

Golf school students stay alongside the fairways in attractively furnished two bedroom, two bath villas (three adult minimum) or in motel-type efficiency units which are complete with a fully equipped kitchen, TV and deck overlooking the golf course, Douglas Lake, and the Great Smoky Mountains.

The combination of gently rolling land and hills, dotted by ponds, grass mounds and sand bunkers, and with several holes bordered by woods makes this a challenging 6,735 yard par-71 golf course.

 Golf Director and co-owner Tom Kammann has spared no ideas and effort in making Baneberry not only one of Tennessee's best courses, but a layout enjoyable to golfers of all abilities. A driving range, two putting greens,wedge and chipping green, tennis courts and a large swimming pool are all near the clubhouse which contains a fully-equipped pro shop, restaurant, lounge, meeting and party rooms, and spacious patio overlooking the front nine. There is a concrete boat ramp off #3 fairway, into the excellent fishing, Lake Douglas. Baneberry has twice hosted the $75,000 Baneberry Classic held by the T.C. Jordan Tour (now the NGA Hooters Tour).
