George W. Dunne National Golf Course announced it has been selected by the United States Golf Association (USGA) to host a U.S Open Local Qualifier on May 14, 2007.

Located in southwest suburban Oak Forest, Dunne National offers the unique features of bent grass fairways and greens. Designed by Ken Killian and Dick Nugent, two of Chicago's best known golf architects, the course opened in 1982. It features four sets of huge tee boxes, gigantic trademark sand traps, and large, sloping greens; playing at over 7,100 yards from the championship tees.
A 42-station, lighted driving range, two putting greens and full-line pro shop complete the picture for a wonderful learning golf school experience.
Our PGA teaching staff at George W. Dunne National Golf Course will take your game to the next level. Lead by PGA Class A Teaching Professional and PGTCA nominee for “Teacher of the Year”, Tony Valentine. With a world class instructional facility and years of teaching experience, they will make this a truly rewarding golf school. This school is a commuter only school.
