Golf swing Impact Drills Impact Drill #1 Using the six checkpoints above, address a golf ball in impact position. Next, swing the club back with the arms only while freezing the position with the body. Only swing back about 3/4 of the way. Swing through and feel the sensation of arriving at the golf ball in a correct impact position. Impact Drill #2
Using the six checkpoints above, address a golf ball in impact position. Next press the clubface against the end of a short 2' by 4'. Notice the clubface and how square it is in this position. Feel the resistance of the muscles as you press against the board. This drill will help you better understand and emulate this position in your swing.
