Club Fitting: Hosel design Hosel Design mainly affects the directional ball flight patterns. Directional ball flight patterns are mainly a function of how much or how little "offset" is designed into a club. Hosel offset is defined as the distance from the farthest front portion of the hosel to the farthest front portion of the face on its centerline.
